About
519 Hockey Training is run by D.J. Turner, former Jr.B player of the year, CIS student athlete, European professional player and current elementary school teacher. D.J.'s unique combination of educational and playing experience ensures our athletes are provided with proper instruction AND correction while partaking in challenging and fun skill development drills. We like to blend the old with the new, staying up to date on the latest training methods while also integrating proven techniques to make sure our sessions are able to translate into success for our athletes in todays evolving game.

Winter Sessions 2026
1) Mondays 6:40-8 @ WFCU Bowl

Jan.6- Mar. 10 (no ice Jan.27)
- Monday and Tuesday Winter skills are each 9 sessions and $450.
They are for 2016-2011 birth years along with 2017 travel players.
These will be themed sessions that will have a weekly focus. Each session will have approx. 30 mins of skating, 25 mins of puck control/shooting and 25 mins of combination/game application drills.
3) Wednesday Young Guns 4:55-5:45 @ Forest Glade
Jan.7- Mar.11 (10 sessions) $360 2020-2017
- These sessions will focus on the fundamental skills of skating, stickhandling, puck control and shooting. Skills will be progressed and built on as the session continues.
4) Thursdays 4:55-5:45 @ Forest Glade
Jan.8-Mar.12 (10 sessions) $360 2018-2013
-These sessions will have a weekly focus that will progress throughout the session.
Session 1-3 will be skating focused, sessions 4-6 stickhandling and puck control,
session 7-8 shooting, sessions 9-10 combination drills and game application.
Notes for Winter Sessions.
1. Multi Sibling Discount: 2nd/3rd child receive 25% off fall sessions
2.For all winter sessions, there is no refund for missed sessions. Make up sessions, within the fall when available will be offered if advanced notice is given.*
